I. GEARBOX

1. Position

2. Common problems:

+ Gearbox dirt, vibration and temperature do not meet standard quality due to long-time operation in harsh environments.

3. Process of overhaul - repair - maintenance of ball mill/coal mill gearbox

- Step 1: ​Remove and take the gearbox to the repair area



- Step 2: Clean the gearbox cover - Remove the flange

- Step 3: Check gear contact and backlash before disassembling

  

- Step 4:

+ Remove the bearing from the input shaft - intermediate shaft - output shaft.

+ Heating the bearing, replace damaged bearings, replace damaged spare parts.

+ Clean all spare parts.

- Step 5: Install the bearing for the input shaft - intermediate shaft – output shaft

- Step 6: Check the gearbox cover

- Step 7: Check the gear contact and the backlash after installing

- Step 8: Reassemble the components into the gearbox

 

- Step 9: Check again until the parameters that have met the requirements will be re-installed into the system for further operation.
